About Pathhead Farm
A working farm with a warm heart, muddy boots, and something for everyone.
Tucked just outside Kirriemuir, Pathhead Farm is a vibrant little corner of Angus where the kettle’s always on, the ponies are always ready to say hello, and something interesting is always growing, baking, blooming or bouncing.
We’re a working family-run farm that’s grown and evolved over the years into a place where the community gathers—whether it’s for a riding lesson, a coffee, a bunch of herbs, or a muddy dash through the pumpkin patch.
What We Do (and Love Doing)

At Pathhead, you’ll find:
- An equestrian centre where riders of all levels are welcomed with encouragement and kindness (and maybe a little bit of horse hair).
- Our farm shop and kitchen café full of fresh, seasonal produce—some of it grown just metres away.A dog park where pups can run free and owners can breathe easy.
- The plant nursery and gardens that change with the seasons and are always full of colour, scent and stories.
- A growing number of events that bring folk together—from pumpkin days and Christmas markets to pony camps, craft workshops and more.
- A handful of holiday cottages for those who want to escape the noise and get a taste of countryside calm (hot tubs included).
Rooted in Real Life
We’re not glossy or polished—we’re real, rural, and proud of it. Our farm is full of life: laughter from the riding school, clinking cups in the café, the quiet rustle of the polytunnels, and the occasional barking dog or whinnying pony adding to the soundtrack.
We believe in growing things with love, in supporting our neighbours, and in creating a space that feels familiar, friendly, and full of possibility.
So whether you’re here to ride, eat, plant, shop, or just walk the dog—we’re really glad you found us.
Come As You Are
At Pathhead, everyone’s welcome. Just bring your wellies, your curiosity, and your appetite—we’ll take care of the rest.
