I-OK Presents: Folk Nights at Pathhead Café

An Evening of Foot-Stomping Tunes & Timeless Talent

Get ready for two unforgettable evenings of live folk music at the heart of Kirriemuir. Hosted by I-OK and set in the cosy surroundings of Pathhead Café, these events promise a rich blend of musical flair, community spirit, and good old-fashioned fun.

Thursday 18th October – Itchy Fingers

Mighty 4-piece band bringing an explosion of folk energy

Expect a whirlwind of instruments and harmonies as Itchy Fingers take to the stage. With flutes, whistles, small pipes, guitar, bouzouki, sax, accordion, banjolele, harmonica—and of course, all four singing—this dynamic quartet delivers high-energy folk with style and soul.
Bring your toe-tapping shoes and prepare for a night of music that’s impossible to sit still through.

Thursday 14th November – Christine Kydd & Alan Reid

Folk music aristocracy in an intimate café setting

Don’t miss this rare chance to see two legends of the Scottish folk scene up close. Christine Kydd’s powerful vocals and storytelling presence paired with Alan Reid’s masterful musicianship (of Battlefield Band fame) promise a night of thoughtful, moving, and unforgettable music.
This is folk at its finest—steeped in tradition, sung from the heart.

Both events at Pathhead Café, Kirriemuir

Come early for a cosy seat and something tasty from the café menu. Music starts at 7:30pm.
